Section titled “Wonde MIS integration”Wonde is a UK MIS aggregator — connect once to Wonde and Keystone can read directories from any of the major school MIS systems behind it (SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor, ScholarPack). The sync is one-way: Wonde → Keystone. Keystone never writes back to your MIS.

What it syncs
Section titled “What it syncs”The sync pulls three entity types, and only these:
- Schools — the school record itself: name, address, phase, URN. Maps to Keystone’s school directory.
- Staff — every staff member with a contract. Creates or updates a Keystone user per staff record, matched by MIS link then email, and attaches them to the right academy.
- Rooms — the school’s room directory, mapped into Estates as places scoped to the school.
It does not sync pupil records, parent or contact records, the school calendar, or class rosters. Keystone reads only the school, staff and room directories it needs to run the helpdesk, estates and identity surfaces.
There is no customer-entered API token. Alresford holds the Wonde commercial contract on your behalf, and the Wonde credential is provisioned for your trust through the licensing portal as part of onboarding. In Admin → Integrations → Wonde a status panel tells you whether the credential is in place; you then toggle the sync on, pick a cadence (daily / weekly / manual) and save. The default is daily at 01:00 trust-time.

Sync runs
Section titled “Sync runs”Each run is one row in the run log, with start time, duration, status and counts (processed / created / updated / failed). The most recent runs show on the settings page; the Runs page lists every sync, and clicking one drills into its per-run detail. A failed run never stops the schedule — the next run tries again.
Disabling
Section titled “Disabling”Disabling Wonde stops future syncs. Existing data stays exactly as it was, and you can re-enable later — the next sync catches up the delta.
