Section titled “Resetting your password”If you can’t sign in, you can usually reset your own password without raising a ticket.
If your trust uses single sign-on (SSO)
Section titled “If your trust uses single sign-on (SSO)”Your Keystone password is the same as your main school account (for example Microsoft 365 or Google). Use your organisation’s normal “forgotten password” page — the link is on the sign-in screen under Sign in with…. Once your main account works again, you’ll be able to sign in to the portal.
If you sign in with a Keystone username and password
Section titled “If you sign in with a Keystone username and password”- Go to the sign-in page and choose Forgotten password.
- Enter the email address you use for the portal.
- Open the reset email and follow the link. For security it expires after a short time — if it lapses, just request another.
- Choose a new password and sign in.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”- Check the email didn’t land in your junk folder.
- If you don’t receive anything, your account may use SSO (see above) or your email address may have changed — raise a request and the service desk will help.
Tip: Set up a passkey so you can sign in with your face, fingerprint or device PIN and skip passwords altogether.
